Trump Arrives in China for Crucial Talks on Iran War, Trade and Taiwan
BEIJING SCN : US President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for a high-stakes summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping amid growing global tensions.
Trump received a red-carpet welcome featuring a military honor guard, marching band, and hundreds of Chinese youths waving US and Chinese flags as Air Force One landed in the Chinese capital.
The summit is expected to focus heavily on the Iran war, worsening trade tensions, and controversial US arms sales to Taiwan.

Trump said trade would be his “main focus,” with discussions expected on American soybean, beef, and aircraft exports as both nations attempt to stabilize economic relations after years of tariff battles.
The Iran conflict also remains a major concern, particularly after disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz pushed global energy prices higher.
Meanwhile, Taiwan is expected to become another key issue after the US approved an $11 billion weapons package for the self-governing island, a move strongly opposed by Beijing.
