Iran has issued a fresh warning to the United States and Israel, saying there will be “many more surprises” if the war resumes amid growing fears that the fragile ceasefire could collapse.

The warning came as US President Donald Trump signaled he was still considering renewed military action against Tehran if negotiations fail.

Multiple international media reports said Iranian officials warned that any renewed attacks could open “new fronts” across the region and trigger a stronger response from Tehran and its allies.

Trump recently revealed he had paused a planned strike on Iran after pressure from Gulf allies and ongoing diplomatic efforts, but warned that a “big hit” could still happen if talks collapse.

Vice President JD Vance also warned Tehran that the United States remains “locked and loaded” if diplomacy fails, while insisting Washington still prefers a negotiated settlement.

The latest escalation comes as tensions continue around the Strait of Hormuz, where shipping disruptions and military deployments have raised global concerns over oil supplies and regional stability.

Multiple US and international media reports, including Reuters, CBS News, Sky News and The Guardian, said diplomatic contacts remain active behind the scenes despite increasingly aggressive rhetoric from both sides
