Arsenal Parade Erupts Into Massive Street Party After 22-Year Wait
North London was transformed into a sea of red and white as Arsenal supporters poured into the streets to celebrate the club's first Premier League title since 2004.
Early estimates suggest between 750,000 and one million fans attended the open-top bus parade, creating extraordinary scenes along the route from Emirates Stadium through Islington.
The celebrations came less than 24 hours after Arsenal's hopes of completing a historic double were dashed when Paris Saint-Germain denied the Gunners a first UEFA Champions League title. Despite the disappointment, supporters turned out in huge numbers to celebrate the league triumph that ended a 22-year wait.
Emergency services reported several incidents during the celebrations, including the rescue of approximately 75 people from rooftops and elevated structures after fans climbed to gain better views of the parade. A small hotel fire, believed to have been caused by a stray flare, was also quickly brought under control.
Players, coaching staff, and club legends joined supporters aboard open-top buses as chants echoed across North London throughout the afternoon. For many younger Arsenal fans, it was the first opportunity to witness a Premier League title parade in their lifetime.
The massive turnout highlighted the scale of Arsenal's achievement and underlined the renewed optimism surrounding the club's future under Mikel Arteta.
