Iran has made its position clear on the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the situation will remain unchanged unless the United States agrees to what it describes as a “reasonable deal.”

According to a report by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, a source close to the matter indicated that Tehran is not willing to shift its stance under current conditions.

The statement comes at a time of rising tensions following failed negotiations between the United States and Iran in Islamabad, where both sides were unable to reach a breakthrough after prolonged talks.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the most critical global oil routes, and its status has become a major point of disagreement between the two sides. Recent developments have further intensified concerns about regional stability and global energy security.

Iran has repeatedly signaled that it will not accept what it considers excessive demands, particularly on strategic and security-related issues.

Experts believe that the ongoing deadlock could prolong uncertainty in the region, especially as both sides continue to exchange strong messages without reaching common ground.

At this stage, there is no indication of immediate progress, with the future of negotiations still unclear.
