Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed he is in good health following successful treatment for early-stage prostate cancer.

According to his latest medical update, the condition was detected during a routine examination, where doctors identified a malignant tumor at an early stage. Netanyahu said the issue was addressed through targeted treatment, leaving no remaining signs of the disease.

Medical reports indicate that radiation therapy was used as part of the treatment, though no specific timeline has been disclosed.

The Israeli leader also explained that the release of his medical report had been delayed, citing concerns about misinformation during a period of heightened tensions in the region.

Earlier this year, unverified claims about his health circulated widely during conflict-related developments, prompting Netanyahu to publicly appear in order to dismiss the rumors.

The prime minister has undergone multiple medical procedures in recent years, including prostate-related treatment in 2024 and a pacemaker implant in 2023.

Despite these health challenges, officials say he remains fit to continue his duties, as the country prepares for upcoming elections later this year.
