The partnership involves SC Financial Technologies, an affiliate of World Liberty Financial, which signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) to explore using the USD1 dollar-backed stablecoin for cross-border payments and digital financial infrastructure.
Pakistani officials say the initiative aims to modernize payment systems, improve remittance networks and position the country as a regional digital finance hub. The agreement also reflects improving ties between Islamabad and Washington after years of strained relations.
For the Trump family, World Liberty Financial has become one of its fastest-growing business ventures, benefiting from expanding international partnerships and increasing use of its stablecoin.
