A violent late-night incident in east London has left one man fighting for his life and two others under arrest after police responded to reports of a large fight in Barking.
Emergency services were called to River Road shortly after 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, where officers discovered three men, aged 22, 23, and 28, suffering from stab wounds. All three were rushed to hospital for treatment. The 22-year-old remains in critical condition, while the other two men were later discharged.
In a dramatic development, police confirmed that the two discharged men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder as detectives worked to establish exactly what happened during the confrontation.
Investigators believe the violence was an isolated incident and have increased police presence in the area while inquiries continue. Authorities are appealing for information as they attempt to piece together the events that led to the stabbing.
