BEIJING — Donald Trump is set to continue high-level discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the final day of his state visit to China.
The leaders are expected to hold a private “bilateral tea” meeting before Trump visits Zhongnanhai — the heavily guarded compound where China’s top leadership lives and works.
Xi will also host a private working lunch ahead of Trump’s departure from Beijing later today.
The talks come amid growing global attention on the Iran war, U.S.-China trade tensions, Taiwan, and broader geopolitical competition between the world’s two largest powers.
