Police have confirmed that three women who died after getting into difficulty in the sea off Brighton were sisters from London.
According to Sussex Police, the siblings — all in their 30s — were recovered from the water following a major emergency response along the Brighton coastline.
In an emotional tribute, the women’s father said:
“No words can truly describe the pain of losing three daughters in the prime of their lives.”
Emergency services, including coastguard teams and rescue crews, were deployed after reports of people struggling in the water near Brighton beach. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
