Airstrikes on TTP are related to Pakistan's sovereign decisions, Pentagon spokesman

Washington: Pentagon spokesman has said that airstrikes on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are related to Pakistan's sovereign decisions.

According to the details, Pentagon spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder held a press conference yesterday, in which he was asked if the US supports Pakistani airstrikes against the TTP.

I will not talk about Pakistan's internal decisions, air strikes on TTP are related to Pakistan's sovereign decisions.

Patrick Ryder said that there are concerns in the entire region on the issue of terrorism, how Pakistan protects its borders and how it solves homeland security matters is its decision.

He said that we have a long-standing relationship with Pakistan, we are working together with Pakistan on counter-terrorism, we have a security cooperation relationship with Pakistan. The Major General said that he will work with Pakistan to stop regional terrorism, but will not discuss a possible intelligence operation with Pakistan.

Meanwhile, US State Department spokesperson Matthieu Miller has said in a press conference that the people of Pakistan have suffered a lot at the hands of terrorists, and we have a common interest in dealing with threats to regional security. He said that America's partnership with Pakistani civilian institutions is ongoing, and regular discussions are also ongoing to increase Pakistan's military capability.

He said that we support the work of journalists around the world, it is important that journalists can do their work safely, America does not support the Taliban, we do not give any funds to the Taliban.
