Islamabad: The inside story of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar's visit to Kyrgyzstan has been cancelled.
Sources say that the Kyrgyz government had advised Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister Amir Makam not to come to Bishkek in the current situation.
According to the sources, the Kyrgyz government had said that in the current situation, the arrival of a high-level delegation from Pakistan would create a negative impression on Kyrgyzstan in the world. The Kyrgyz government suggested that a low-level official be sent.
The Kyrgyz government said that the situation was under their control, except for one night. Government sources say that additional secretary level officer can be sent to Bishkek if required.
