Election 2024: Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif will stamp eagle instead of lion
Former Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif will stamp 'Eagle' instead of 'Lion' as the election symbol of PML-N in 2024 general elections.
Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif and President Shehbaz Sharif will not be able to vote for their party in the National Assembly in the current elections. The vote of both the leaders will be in the name of Aun Chaudhry of the Stability Pakistan Party (IPP).
Vote of Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif is registered in NA 128 Lahore. No League candidate is contesting the National Assembly election from this constituency because the PML-N has announced its support for the IPP from here.
Shehbaz Sharif's son and former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz will also miss out on stamping the lion. Hamza Shehbaz's vote is also registered in NA 128 and this vote will also go to Aoon Chaudhry.
It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif himself is contesting from National Assembly seats NA-15 Mansehra, NA-130 Lahore and Shahbaz Sharif NA-123 Lahore, NA-132 Kasur.
