The wife of the former member of the National Assembly said in her statement that Daniyal Aziz was arrested at 12:30 from Shakargarh.
Daniyal Aziz's wife Mehnaz Akbar said that Daniyal Aziz was stopped at the police gate from where the officers took him by force into a car. He alleged that Daniyal Aziz was also subjected to torture
Mehnaz Akbar Aziz further said that Ahsan Iqbal had a hand in the arrest of Daniyal Aziz.
It should be noted that Daniyal Aziz has been a member of the National Assembly on behalf of the Muslim League-N.
