Ali Amin Gandapur's decision to contest the Chief Minister election without a party
The nominated Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has decided to participate in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly as an independent.

According to sources, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Amin Gandapur did not join the Sunni Ittehad Council, he will contest the election of the Chief Minister without a party. Ali Amin Gandapur also submitted papers for provincial presidency in PTI intra party.
Sources say that Ali Amin Gandapur has not taken oath to join the Sunni Unity Council, he is currently an independent candidate.
According to the Act, Ali Amin Gandapur cannot participate in intra-party elections of PTI after joining the Sunni Unity Council.
