The decision of Chief Ministers of Punjab, Sindh today, Maryam and Murad Ali Shah's victory is certain
The decision of the Chief Minister of Punjab and Sindh will be made today, due to the majority of the Muslim League-N in the Punjab Assembly, the victory of Maryam Nawaz seemed certain.
The election of Chief Ministers in both the provinces will be done today through voting. Maryam Nawaz will be the candidate of PML-N from Punjab, while her opponent will be Rana Aftab Ahmed, the nominated candidate of Sunni Ittehad Council.
Maryam Nawaz is certain to win as the PML-N has a majority in Punjab. To form the government in Punjab, PML-N will need the support of 186 MLAs.
On the other hand, the People's Party candidate from Sindh is former Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, who will face Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan's candidate Ali Sohri.
Like Punjab, the People's Party has a clear majority in the Sindh Assembly, due to which there is a strong possibility that Murad Ali Shah will be elected the Chief Minister of Sindh for the third time.
