The procedure of getting mobile phones in installments has been revealed from the federal government. Under the "GSMA Smart Phone for All Scheme" program, any citizen can get a smart phone worth 10 thousand to 1 lakh rupees in installments of 3 to 12 months. can get

The only eligibility to get a mobile phone is ID card, all Pakistanis including students, entrepreneurs and jobbers will be eligible for this program.

A minimum 20% down payment has to be given on the mobile phone but no interest will be charged on it.

Apart from this, the caretaker federal government has also introduced the policy of giving mobile phones in installments. The caretaker federal minister Dr. Umar Saif said that in an effort to protect investors from defaults, blocking mobile phones and possible national identity cards of defaulters. Such measures will be implemented.

He stressed the importance of establishing a strong mechanism to ensure the protection of investors and the success of the policy.

The telecom landscape is set to witness a paradigm shift as the policy allows companies to offer smartphones directly to consumers through flexible installment plans.
