Fast bowler Abbas Afridi out of third Twenty20 match against New Zealand due to injury
Pakistan cricket team's fast bowler Abbas Afridi has been ruled out of the third T20 match against New Zealand due to injury.
According to the press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Abbas Afridi is not available for the national team in the third match. The national cricketer will rest in the match due to stomach pain.
The PCB has said that the inclusion of Abbas Afridi in the last two matches of the series will be decided later. The fast bowler has not been diagnosed with any serious injury.
It should be noted that Abbas Afridi managed to take 3 wickets in his debut match against New Zealand. In the second T20 match too, the fast bowler sent two Kiwi batsmen back to the pavilion.
It should also be kept in mind that in the 5-match T20 series between New Zealand and Pakistan, the Shaheens have lost 2 matches so far. The third match of the series will be played in Dunedin tomorrow.
