The blockbuster racing franchise returned to the spotlight with a special Cannes Film Festival screening.
Vin Diesel and stars from the The Fast and the Furious franchise arrived at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday for a special 25th anniversary celebration of the hit action series.
Diesel was joined by Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Meadow Walker, daughter of late actor Paul Walker, during the event in Cannes, France.
The festival hosted a midnight screening of the original 2001 movie to honor the long-running franchise, which has become one of Hollywood’s biggest global box office successes.
The Fast & Furious series has earned more than $7 billion worldwide across 10 films. An 11th installment, titled Fast Forever, is currently scheduled for release in March 2028 by Universal Pictures
