United States President **Donald Trump will be featured on a limited-edition US passport being issued to mark the country’s 250th anniversary of independence, officials have confirmed.
The special passports are part of nationwide plans to commemorate the anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, with celebrations scheduled across the country in July.
According to the **U.S. Department of State, the commemorative design includes Trump’s portrait alongside elements of the American flag and imagery inspired by the Declaration of Independence. His signature is also incorporated into the design.
Additional pages of the passport will highlight key moments from American history, including an illustration of the Founding Fathers signing the Declaration of Independence.
Officials said the passports will be available in limited numbers to US citizens applying through the Washington Passport Agency, with distribution expected to begin this summer while supplies last.
Standard US passports traditionally feature historic imagery, including scenes such as the **Apollo 11 Moon Landing and symbols like the Statue of Liberty, reflecting the country’s heritage.
The move is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to include presidential branding in national commemorations. Similar initiatives include redesigned national park passes and proposed coin designs featuring Trump’s image as part of the anniversary celebrations.
The commemorative passport is expected to be one of several symbolic releases tied to the United States’ 250-year milestone.
