Pakistan has assured comprehensive and foolproof security arrangements for foreign delegations arriving in Islamabad for the upcoming US-Iran talks.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with the US Ambassador to Pakistan, Natalie Baker, and confirmed that extensive measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all dignitaries.

According to officials, senior US representatives, including Vice President JD Vance and other key envoys, are expected to attend the talks, which come after a recent ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

The minister emphasized that a comprehensive security plan has been developed to provide protection “in every respect,” reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to hosting safe and successful negotiations.

Meanwhile, Islamabad authorities have issued traffic advisories, warning of possible diversions on major routes due to the movement of foreign delegations. Citizens have been advised to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.

The development highlights Pakistan’s proactive role in facilitating dialogue and maintaining stability during a critical phase of regional diplomacy.
