Iran has issued a sharp warning to the United States, saying it would be a serious mistake to allow Israel’s actions to undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts and the fragile regional ceasefire.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon could destabilize the truce and increase tensions across the region. He suggested that political factors within Israel may be influencing the continuation of military operations.
Araghchi also indicated that Iran may consider responding if the ceasefire framework is not respected, raising concerns about possible escalation. The situation has become more complicated due to disagreements over whether Lebanon is included in the ceasefire agreement.
The comments come as tensions remain high following recent conflict in the Middle East, with both sides warning against actions that could derail diplomatic progress. Analysts say the coming days will be critical in determining whether the ceasefire holds or collapses under pressure.
