Pedro Pascal’s celebrity crush is so Generation X coded
WEB DESK: Pedro Pascal just can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight, and his fans wouldn’t have it any other way. Fresh off the Fantastic Four: First Steps premiere, the actor is once again fueling headlines, this time thanks to a buzzworthy moment with co-star Vanessa Kirby. Social media lit up with debate over whether Pascal got a little too touchy-feely on the red carpet, but fans were quick to pull receipts – resurfacing past interviews and moments that show the duo’s easygoing chemistry is nothing new. In fact, there’s no shortage of photos and videos showing Kirby being just as affectionate with Pascal. Their friendship clearly runs deep, and the comfort between them has long been on display.
While internet reels with Pascal Kirby media, the Last of Us actor has dropped yet another piece of news to keep the fans captivated. In an interview with ‘Them magazine’ reported Pedro Pascal sharing a bit of his childhood and the stars who had his attention. The 50-year-old actor named several early celebrity crushes, with one familiar name screaming Generation X core: Harrison Ford.
Recalling double dose of Han to Indy, he said, “Indiana Jones, all the way up to The Last Crusade,” Pascal said. “All the way to now. It’s sort of like a double Harrison Ford, isn’t it? Han Solo.”
Pascal also listed a few other names that made an impression, including Olivia Newton-John, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman in Batman Returns, and Marlon Brando. “Marlon Brando appears on screen in A Streetcar Named Desire, and you can’t even stay seated,” he said.
Beyond looking back, Pascal is staying busy. He stars as Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which opens in theaters on Friday, July 25. He also appears in Materialists alongside Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans.
At the First Steps premiere in Los Angeles, Pascal arrived with his sister, Lux Pascal. On the blue carpet, Lux was seen adjusting the long train of her gown. Pedro stepped in to help, kneeling down and fixing it as cameras rolled. The moment quickly spread across social media.
Pascal wore a white suit jacket over a white tank top, while Lux chose a black gown with cutouts at the waist. Their coordinated looks and quiet moment of teamwork added a personal highlight to the premiere night.
