Field Marshal General Asim Munir recieves guard of honour

ISLAMABAD: A special ceremony to decorate Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir with Field Marshal badges will be held today (Wednesday) at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

The event is scheduled for 5:00 pm and will be attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers, and top civil and military officials.

Earlier today, General Asim Munir received a special guard of honour at the GHQ for his services.

 Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha at the Martyrs’ Monument.

According to ISPR, he paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country
