Former Pakistan skipper reminisces about moment he lifted ICC Champions Trophy in 2017

As Pakistan and India gear up for their highly anticipated Champions Trophy clash in Dubai tomorrow, former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has taken a nostalgic trip down memory lane, recalling his team's historic 2017 triumph over India.

In a heartfelt account, Sarfaraz reminisced about the moment he lifted the ICC Champions Trophy, a feat that remains etched in his memory. 

"I had just requested the boys to let me lift the trophy for a moment before everyone joined in. These cherished memories resurface every year when June 18 arrives," he shared.

Reflecting on the journey to the title, Sarfaraz recalled the immense pressure of captaining Pakistan in his first-ever match against India as skipper on June 4, 2017.
