Islamabad: The National Assembly passed a resolution condemning the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Speaking in the House after the approval of the resolution, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that it is a happy future that this House has brought a joint resolution on the martyrdom of Ismail Haniya. .
Shahbaz Sharif said that the massacre has been going on for 9 months in Gaza, more than 40 thousand Palestinians including women and children were martyred while hospitals, schools and media representatives were targeted in Gaza.
The Prime Minister said that turning a blind eye to this massacre will not work, he strongly condemns the killing of Ismail Haniya Shaheed and the Zionist state must be brought to justice for these crimes.
On the other hand, the funeral prayer of Palestinian leader Ismail Haniyeh was paid in absentia in the National Assembly, in which Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, PTI leader Barrister Gohar and members of the assembly from all parties participated.
