Washington: US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has said that the US does not fund the Taliban.
Speaking at a press conference in Washington, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that Pakistani people have suffered a lot at the hands of terrorists.
He said that they have a common interest in dealing with threats to regional security, and continued partnership with Pakistani civilian institutions.
The US spokesperson said that regular talks are going on to increase Pakistan's military capability, talks are going on with Pakistan to strengthen regional security.
