Rauf Hassan, Ahmed Waqas arrested, PTI involved in anti-state propaganda: Home Ministry
Interior Ministry has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is involved in anti-state propaganda.
According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Islamabad Police arrested PTI coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua.
The spokesman said that the raid was conducted in the light of preliminary investigation and digital content and the raid was conducted by Islamabad Police and FIA on PTI's digital media wing.
According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Rauf Hassan was arrested during the raid.
Spokesperson of Ministry of Home Affairs said that PTI is involved in anti-state propaganda, JIT is being formed on this matter.
It should be noted that the Islamabad Police raided the central office of the Digital Media Cell established in the PTI Secretariat and arrested the central spokesperson Rauf Hasan.
The police also confiscated computers and other equipment from the secretariat.
