 Imran Khan admitted to calling the protest in front of GHQ


Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has admitted calling for protest in front of GHQ.

In an informal conversation with journalists in Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said that on March 14, police and rangers attacked my house at Zaman Park, my lawyers had assured that we will be involved in the investigation and arrest.

Imran Khan said that on March 18, the police attacked me at the judicial complex, shelling was done inside and outside the judicial complex.

The founder of PTI said that I had realized that I would be arrested, before my arrest I had called for a peaceful protest in front of the GHQ.

Imran Khan said that it is better to impose martial law than to bring a technocrat setup, anyway undeclared martial law is in force.

In response to a question, Imran Khan said that he told some points to his lawyers, on the basis of which the interview was published in a foreign journal.
