Acid Attack Incidents: Peshawar Police demand action against illegal sale of acid
Illegal sale of acid has been revealed in Peshawar.
In a letter written by ASP Town Nazish Shahzadi to SP Cantt Waqqas Rafiq, it is stated that the accused threw acid on a family on Abdra Road, causing burns to 2 women and 2 children.
According to the letter, Umar, the arrested accused involved in the incident, revealed that he was a buyer from a shop in Sheikhabad.
The letter stated that the shopkeeper concerned was found to be selling acid illegally without a license and a sad incident took place on illegal sale of acid.
Apart from this, the letter has demanded that the matter be taken up with the district administration to take action against these shopkeepers.
