2 people died due to electrocution in Karachi, K Electric also reacted
K Electric has explained the two incidents while expressing sympathy for those who died due to electrocution during the rain in Karachi yesterday.
In a statement issued by the spokesperson, K Electric said that the incidents at the Metrovale site and at Landhi are tragic, and extend their heartfelt sympathies to the families of both victims.
The spokesperson of K Electric said that according to the preliminary investigation, K Electric installations have nothing to do with the incident, the tragic accident occurred by touching the advertisement board on the spot, on which current was passing through the wire.
A K Electric spokesperson said the street light poles at the site are outside K Electric's jurisdiction.
It should be noted that 2 citizens, including an 11-year-old boy, died after being electrocuted by an electric pole in the areas of Landhi Majeed Colony and Site Metroval.
