Makkah: Due to the extreme heat in Saudi Arabia, an important decision has been made regarding the Friday address and prayers in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi (peace be upon him).


According to the report of the Saudi news agency, the head of Masjid Al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, issued instructions to reduce the duration of the Friday prayer address.

According to the new orders, instructions have been given to offer the Friday address and prayers in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi within fifteen minutes.

According to local Saudi media, the decision was made in view of the extreme hot weather conditions, the change will continue until the hot summer, after which the previous routine will be implemented.

On the other hand, the number of pilgrims who died due to extreme heat during the current Hajj season in Makkah has been claimed to be 1170.

According to the report of the American newspaper Wall Street General, the number of pilgrims who died from the heat during the Hajj season has reached 1170, the number of dead Egyptian citizens is up to 600 hundred.

According to the report, many pilgrims are still missing and are being treated in several hospitals. Other dead pilgrims are from Jordan, Indonesia, Iran, Senegal, Tunisia and Iraq. The search for 20 missing pilgrims from Jordan is also ongoing.
