After a sensational match, India defeated South Africa and became the T20 world champion once again.
In pursuit of India's target of 177 runs, the Indian bowlers took away the winning match from South Africa, the South African team scored 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and faced a defeat by 7 runs.
In the final played in Bridgetown, Barbados, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat.

In the last over, South Africa needed 16 runs to win, but Surya Kumar Yadav took a brilliant catch of Miller on the boundary off Hardik Pandya's ball. 4 runs were scored on the next ball, then one run was scored on the third ball.
