European Union imposes sanctions on Chinese companies, Beijing reacts strongly
The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed during the press conference and said that they are protesting against the decision of the European Union to impose sanctions on 19 Chinese companies. Western forces are targeting China in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Speaking to the media, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning has further stated that unilateral sanctions on Chinese companies have no significance at the global level, and will not allow Western measures to hinder cooperation between China and Russia.
It should be noted that a few days ago, the European Union imposed restrictions on foreign companies providing capital, equipment and manpower for Russian companies Arctic 2 and Murmansk LNG projects, 61 of China, UAE and Turkey. Companies have been included in the sanctions package.
