Rainfall system enters Punjab
A rain system has entered Punjab as a result of which rains are likely to continue till April 29.
The spokesperson of PDMA says that the rain system has entered the entire Punjab, including the provincial capital Lahore, due to which there are chances of rain and hailstorm at some places.
DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia has directed the Deputy Commissioners of the province to keep all the concerned departments on alert to deal with any emergency.
On the other hand, the district emergency operation centers of all districts, including the provincial control room, have also been alerted, while the situation is being monitored in the PDMA control room.
Citizens have also been instructed to stay away from electric poles and hanging wires during inclement weather, stay in safe places to avoid lightning.
