Willing to work with the next government: America

The US State Department has said that it is ready to work with the next government in Pakistan, regardless of political party.

The spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, in his statement, after the completion of the election process in Pakistan, has expressed the expectation that the election results will be completed in a timely manner in Pakistan, which will reflect the aspirations of the Pakistani people.

He says that he acknowledges the opinion of local and international observers that the recent elections resulted in restrictions on the expression of opinions and peaceful assembly of people. And condemned the restrictions on mobile services.

The US State Department demanded an investigation into state interference and alleged rigging during the electoral process. Earlier, Britain had expressed serious concerns about the transparency of Pakistan's elections.

British Foreign Secretary Devon Cameron said in a statement that the Internet shutdown on polling day and the delay in the release of results are also being monitored, demanding Pakistan to protect basic human rights, and praising Pakistanis who voted.
