The Finance Ministry had sent a 3-point summary to the Establishment Division in which the proposals to calculate the pension based on the pay drawn in the last three years of service and to cut the pension of early retirees by 3% were rejected by the Establishment Division. Rejected.
Approved to increase the retirement age of government employees from 60 years to 62 years to temporarily avoid the burden of payments on the exchequer.
Establishment Division has issued an office memorandum to approve the proposal to extend the retirement period of government employees by 2 years.
The Ministry of Finance will send the summary to the Federal Cabinet for final approval after obtaining approval from the Ministry of Law and ECC on the OM of the Establishment Division.
