The renegade leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that changing the public decision can make the situation tense.
In a tweet issued on the social networking website X, he issued a statement regarding the results of the general elections 2024. He said that the people gave a decision which should be accepted.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the political leadership should move beyond this kind of politics, the problems faced by the country must be solved together. History has never been kind to selfish politicians.
The former prime minister said that the heat of the election process is over, now is the time to allow the country to move towards stability. Leaders must now move beyond party politics and work together to get the country out of the challenges it faces.
He added that the people of Pakistan have spoken loudly and clearly.
