In order to form a government by forming an alliance with the Muslim League-N, the People's Party demanded the Prime Ministership for Bilawal Bhutto.
According to reports received from PML-N sources, Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto met Shehbaz Sharif on Friday night and discussed forming a coalition government.
On Saturday, the PML-N leadership meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shehbaz Sharif, in which various options were considered for government formation in the federation and Punjab.
Sources said that Shahbaz Sharif told his party members that Asif Zardari started the conversation with the demand to make Bilawal Bhutto the Prime Minister and give him the central ministerial portfolios.
According to the sources, Shahbaz Sharif further said that in return Asif Zardari offered support to PML-N to form the government in Punjab.
