The request of Judge Muhammad Bashir, who heard the cases of Imran Khan, was rejected
The Ministry of Law and Justice rejected the leave request of the judge hearing the cases of founder PTI Imran Khan till his retirement.
According to the sources, the Ministry of Law and Justice did not approve the application regarding the leave of Islamabad Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir, after which Judge Muhammad Bashir withdrew his application.
Judge Muhammad Bashir had applied for leave from January 24 to March 14 due to ill health.
It should be noted that 2 references against founder PTI and Bushra Bibi are under hearing in the court of Judge Muhammad Bashir, while Judge Muhammad Bashir is retiring on March 14, 2024 after completing his term of service. He had applied for medical leave till retirement.
