The former Pakistan captain achieved this feat in his 487th T20 innings.
Shoaib Malik is representing Fortune Barisal in the Bangladesh Premier League and he completed his 13 thousand runs in T20 cricket by taking the 7th run against Rangpur Riders.
The honor of scoring the most runs in T20 cricket is held by Chris Gayle of West Indies who scored 14562 in the short format cricket.
