(Q) League wants adjustment in more than 12 seats of National and Provincial Assembly
Lahore: Early progress is expected on seat adjustment between (N) League and (Q) League for general elections.
According to the sources, Q-League wants seat adjustment on 4 seats won by National Assembly and 8 seats won by Provincial Assembly in 2018. In 2018, Salik Hussain, Monis Elahi, Hussain Elahi and Tariq Bashir Cheema won the National Assembly election on these seats.
Sources say that (Q) League also wants more seats in addition to the seats it won in the 2018 election and in this regard the leaders of both the parties may meet in the coming days.
Chaudhry Shujaat's son Shafi Hussain is also in the field for the upcoming general elections, he has submitted papers for 2 seats in the provincial assembly from Gujarat.
Sources say that there is a possibility of seat adjustment of Salik Hussain and Shafi Hussain in Gujarat, while there is no possibility of adjustment on the seats of Hussain Elahi and Musa Elahi from Gujarat.
Apart from this, Tariq Bashir Cheema's opponent in Bahawalpur is Saud Majeed of (N) League.
