PTI's announcement to go to the Supreme Court against the decision to withdraw the bat symbol
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to go to the Supreme Court against the Peshawar High Court's decision to withdraw the election symbol.
The Peshawar High Court has restored the decision of the Election Commission on the PTI intra-party election and election symbol case and has withdrawn the injunction, after which the bat symbol was once again removed from the PTI.
After the verdict, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Khan while speaking outside Adiala Jail said that the news has come that Peshawar High Court has withdrawn the verdict regarding bat mark.
Barrister Gohar said that withdrawing the invitation from PTI is illegal, the election will not be recognized by the world, the election on 859 seats will remain controversial, this decision was taken in haste.
He said that he will go to the Supreme Court against the decision to withdraw the bat symbol, if we are not given the bat symbol, it is a defeat for democracy and the people will not accept it.
He said that the Supreme Court has said that taking the election symbol from the party is equivalent to dissolving it, if the Supreme Court does not restore it, each candidate will contest the election on a separate symbol, which will confuse the voters. There must be a single common electoral symbol
