If there is a war with Russia, the British army will be reduced, the head of the British army
Nadan: The head of the British army, General Patrick Sanders, has said that if there is a war with Russia, the British reserve force will be reduced.
According to a foreign news agency, the head of the British army, General Patrick Sanders, advised his government that Britain should create a citizen army for future ground warfare.
He said that a citizen's army is needed to fight countries like Russia and if there is a war with Russia, Britain's reserve army will be reduced.
General Patrick Sanders said that the basis of recruitment of citizens in the army should be established at the national level and the British army will have to be brought up to 120,000 in 3 years.
"The British army has been halved in the last 30 years and it is clear from Ukraine that the army starts a war and the people's army wins it," he said.
On the other hand, the spokesman of the British Prime Minister disagreed with the statement of General Patrick Sanders and said that neither there is any such proposal nor any such intention. The British Army is voluntary and there are no plans to change the situation.
