Canada has issued instructions to its citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Pakistan.
The Government of Canada and the High Commission have issued a travel guide for their citizens to Pakistan.
In the security level 2 of the guidelines issued by the Canadian High Commission, it is advised to be very careful when traveling to Pakistan.
According to the guidelines, due to the unpredictable security situation in Pakistan, take extreme caution, there is a risk of terrorism, insecurity, sectarian violence and kidnapping.
The Canadian High Commission has advised citizens to avoid traveling to the border areas of Pakistan.
