In reply, the Pakistani opening batsmen could not get off to a good start, Rizwan scored 24 runs and Saeem Ayub returned to the pavilion with 10 runs. Babar Azam scored a half-century in the third consecutive match while batting brilliantly and was dismissed for 58 runs.


Thus, New Zealand took a 0-3 lead in the 5-match series. Pakistan will need to win one of the remaining two matches to avoid a whitewash.
