FIFA Still Has Nearly 1,200 World Cup Final Tickets Available Starting at $7,380

FIFA still has nearly 1,200 tickets available for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, with prices starting at $7,380, highlighting the unprecedented cost of attending football's biggest match.
The official FIFA ticket marketplace listed 1,178 Category 2 tickets for the July 19 final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, priced at $7,380 each. The seats are located across several upper-level sections along the sidelines.
Even more expensive options remain available.
Premium lower-deck seats are priced between $19,995 and $32,970, while Trophy Lounge hospitality packages cost $34,500 per ticket, making the 2026 World Cup final one of the most expensive in tournament history.
The availability of so many high-priced tickets comes as resale prices for several knockout matches have fallen sharply following the elimination of host nation United States and co-host Mexico, reducing demand in some markets.
FIFA has not explained why additional final tickets were released so close to the championship match.
The governing body has faced criticism throughout the tournament over its pricing strategy, with fans and lawmakers arguing that ticket costs have placed the World Cup beyond the reach of many supporters. FIFA has defended its pricing approach, saying it reflects market demand while helping fund football development worldwide.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup final will be played on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, where the tournament's champion will be crowned before a global television audience expected to reach hundreds of millions.
