Trump Says Iran Ceasefire on “Life Support” With Only 1% Chance of Survival

US President Donald Trump has warned that the fragile ceasefire between the United States and Iran may soon collapse, saying it has only a “1% chance” of survival.

Speaking during an Oval Office event, Trump described the ceasefire as being on “massive life support” after recent military exchanges and rising tensions between both sides.

“It’s like when a doctor walks in and says your loved one has a 1% chance,” Trump said while discussing the current state of the truce.

The ceasefire, first announced last month following heightened conflict between Washington and Tehran, has become increasingly unstable in recent days. Reports of fresh attacks and retaliatory actions have raised fears of a renewed regional escalation.

The latest comments from Trump come as global attention remains focused on the Middle East crisis, with concerns growing over possible impacts on oil markets, shipping routes, and regional security.
