A federal judge in New York has ordered the release of a purported suicide note written by Jeffrey Epstein.

A federal judge in New York has officially unsealed a handwritten note allegedly written by Jeffrey Epstein before his controversial death inside a Manhattan prison cell.

The note, hidden from the public for years, reportedly includes the chilling line:
“Time to say goodbye.”

Another part of the message allegedly states:
“They investigated me for months – found nothing!!!”

The document surfaced from the criminal case involving Epstein’s former cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione, a former police officer convicted in a multiple murder case.

U.S. District Judge Kenneth Karas ruled there was no sufficient reason to continue keeping the document sealed.

According to court filings, Tartaglione allegedly recovered the note while he and Epstein were briefly housed together at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan before Epstein’s death in 2019.

Epstein was found dead in his prison cell on August 10, 2019, while awaiting federal trial on sex trafficking charges involving underage girls.

Although authorities ruled the death a suicide, Epstein’s case has remained one of the most controversial and widely debated criminal investigations in the United States.

The release of the alleged suicide note comes after The New York Times requested access to sealed court records tied to the case.

The newly unsealed documents are expected to reignite public debate, conspiracy theories, and renewed attention surrounding Epstein’s final days and prison death.
