‘Sardaar Ji 3’ trailer out, overseas-only release confirmed
WEB DESK: Pakistani actor Hania Aamir has officially joined the cast of Sardaar Ji 3, a Punjabi comedy film led by singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.
The film will hit cinemas internationally on June 27, but no release is planned in India.
Diljit shared the trailer on Instagram, writing, “Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only. Fadh lao bhoond dian lattan,” teasing fans with his return as a ghost hunter. Hania Aamir plays his love interest, who is also a fellow ghostbuster in the film.Despite social media rumours suggesting Hania was dropped from the film due to heightened India-Pakistan tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack, she remains part of the cast.
Also appearing in the film are Pakistani actors Daniel Khawar, Nasir Chinyoti, and Saleem Albela, along with Punjabi star Neeru Bajwa.
The story follows a team of ghostbusters who travel to a haunted castle in the UK. When their efforts fail against a mysterious spirit, the castle owner turns to Diljit’s character for help.
Directed by Amar Hundal, the film blends humour and horror and boasts a star-studded ensemble including Sonam Bajwa, Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi.
