Israel and Iran trade strikes as conflict continues, Iran threatens to intensify attacks if Israeli ‘hostilities’ persist
At least two people have been killed in Israel’s Northern District following a wave of Iranian strikes across Israel Saturday.
Eight fire and rescue teams from the Northern District continued to operate at the scene of the strikes early on Sunday morning. Fire crews said they rescued four trapped women, but that two of them had died.
In the Lower Galilee, three fire crews are working on a burning agricultural building.
The Israel Fire and Rescue hotline also received reports of several incidents in the coastal and northern districts, including impacts and damage to residential buildings and fires in open areas.
At other side Israeli strikes hit Iran’s defense ministry headquarters in Tehran, state media reports
Tasnim News Agency reported that the strike caused minor damage to one of the administrative buildings of the ministry. A separate strike in the same area hit the defense ministry’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, Tasnim reported.
As Iran says Shahran oil depot targeted by Israeli strikes, “According to initial reports, the fuel levels in both tanks were not high, and the situation is fully under control,” IRNA reported.
